From the past few hours, rumours of Deepika Padukone returning to Mumbai from Goa made headlines and how. The actress is summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau on September 25 after her name emerged in alleged drug chats with her manager Karishma Prakash, who was in contact with Rhea Chakraborty’s talent manager Jaya Saha. In the WhatsApp chats accessed by NCB, Jaya, Deepika and Karishma were a part of a group and used to ask for drugs. In the messages sent to Karishma in October 2017, Deepika had asked for ‘hash’ and 'maal’. 

After the Narcotics agency sent summons to Deepika Padukone the Bajirao Mastani actress was expected to return from Goa, this afternoon, after she was snapped arriving leaving for the airport. But the game seems to be changed now. Dippy has made a u-turn to the hotel. As per online reports, the actress had arrived at the airport to receive her husband Ranveer Singh. Deepika was in Goa for the shoot for her upcoming Shakun Batra film that also stars Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi. The Chennai Express actress actually sent the media on a wild chase and returned to the hotel. However, she’s expected to leave for Mumbai shortly in the evening. 

Meanwhile, NCB has also summoned other top actresses like Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, fashion designer Simone Khambatta and others. Deepika will appear before NCB officials tomorrow, i.e., September 25. Deepika reportedly met a team of 3 lawyers in Goa.

On the other hand, Sara Ali Khan landed in Mumbai. Ahead of her questioning with NCB, heavy security was deployed at the airport, and outside her residence in Mumbai.
